Here is another pattern I worked on. For this one I did a diamond shaped pattern. Again, whenever making a pattern or shape use the smart guide and ruler always to measure things evenly and correctly.
Once you create the shape you can then copy and paste it and place the images next to each other. Play with the colors and make sure touching diamonds have different colors in them.
From there, you can copy and paste the shapes and copy and paste it until it fits your desired area.
